2026 Coaching Staff

Our coaching staff is made up of dedicated volunteers who care deeply about athlete development and the overall experience of our families. Coaches are committed to teaching fundamentals the right way, creating a safe and structured environment, and holding athletes to clear expectations around effort, preparation, and sportsmanship. They work to challenge athletes appropriately, push them toward their potential, and support growth both on and off the field. Coaches are expected to model the values of the program and foster a positive, respectful team culture.

2026 Board Members

The West Clovis Monsters are led by a volunteer Board of Directors responsible for the overall operation and direction of the program. The board works behind the scenes to ensure the program runs smoothly, remains financially responsible, and stays aligned with its values and long-term goals. Board members support coaches, coordinate logistics and communication, and help create consistency across the program so athletes and families can focus on development, teamwork, and community.


President — Amanda Hernandez

Provides overall leadership and oversight of the organization.
Serves as the primary liaison with the league and school district and oversees governance, policies, and board operations.


Vice President — Mike McDonald

Oversees all game-day operations and volunteers across the program.
This includes home and away games, league events, snack bar operations, vendors, and volunteer coordination. Serves as the primary point of contact for operational or scheduling concerns.


Director of Coaches — Zo Hernandez

Supports football coaches and oversees football practices and workouts.
Works collaboratively with coaches and families to help address football-related questions and support the continued development of all athletes.


Director of Football — Patrick Kelly

Manages football equipment, uniforms, storage, and logistics.
Ensures teams are properly equipped and prepared for practices and games.


Director of Cheer — Angela Grimm

Oversees the cheer program, including practices, games, and competitions.
Supports cheer families and ensures the cheer program runs smoothly throughout the season.


Director of Communications — Erin Southland

Serves as the single source of official communication for the program.
Manages announcements, schedules, updates, and social media, and serves as the point of contact for Monsters events.


Director of Operations — Kassidee McDonald

Oversees registration, payments, fundraising, and sponsorships.
Manages financial processes and helps ensure the long-term sustainability of the program.
